I only have wonderful things to say about David and his home! I had to WFH during part of our stay and the WiFi was great at supporting my many video calls and the rooms had desks which allowed me to work without disturbing anyone.

“A fabulous place in the heart of Bloomington that also felt secluded and peaceful! I was in town to visit family, and David's place felt like home. My kids reported sleeping better at David's than at home. The beds are all super comfy, and the linens are luxurious. The bathrooms and kitchen are all newly updated and spotless. “These hosts know what they’re doing, and this was a high quality stay. The house is awesome and things like updated, state-of-the-art appliances and fixtures made our week super comfortable. We all also really appreciated the attention to details that matter like power banks on each bedside table, hangers in the closets, and plenty of good quality paper products. (My parents always wish people would remember to provide boxes of tissues!) It’s honestly a beautiful spot in a great neighborhood. We took multiple walks to Bryan Park, enjoying the friendly neighbors and beautiful gardens along the way!”

Why stay?
I am the second owner of this 1960 authentic mid-century modern, which was designed by the architect-owner. Extensive modernization of the electrical, networking, and lighting ensures that you have a comfortable stay. I restored all of this home's original features, including the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom tile.
The main level features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plus kitchen, dining and living room.
Downstairs is a totally renovated finished basement. It is a legal bedroom (hence the 4th bedroom) doubling as a TV/bar room, with a full bathroom and laundry room. It has a king-sized American Leather sofa sleeper that sleeps 2. This is the best sleeper sofa available, featuring a Tempu-Pedic mattress.
Parents visiting their kids can take a break from student life and enjoy time to themselves. The city's best bar/restaurant is a 3 minute drive away. Or use the chef's kitchen and entertain in this statement listing!
