We had heard so much about DuPont Circle and Downtown but never anything about the H Street corridor. We rode the DC Streetcar (didn’t know that was there - they ran for 100 years on H street before busses) and were really impressed by the rich history of the area!

“Never needed a car.”

Went from Reagan to Union Station. Walked to the house (with luggage). Walked to the Capitol and Mall. Proximity to Union Station meant the entire area was a short train ride away.
